In Social Studies class, we learned about the nine African American students in Little Rock, Arkansas who were the first blacks student to attend Little Rock Central High. We also learned about the hardship that these students went through in order to attend this institution. Put yourself in the shoes of the “Little Rock Nine Students” and write down how you would feel if you had to enter on all white school. Explain why you would feel this way.

This is our class website. As you know, we have been learning about events that took place during the Civil Rights Movements and notable African Americans who took part in this movement. Through this website, we will be able to learn more about the movement and its relations to the time period in which we are currently living in. You can post comments about our class discussions as well as express your ideas or thoughts on our current topic. Have fun!-Miss. Royes
